The villagers are busy picking ripe peppers, and there is a busy harvest in the base. In the past, millet and corn were mainly planted here. Due to the perennial drought and little rain, the harvest was not guaranteed. In the past two years, the local government has actively adjusted the agricultural industrial structure, revitalized land resources, focused on the development direction of modern high-quality and efficient agriculture, introduced enterprises, and built pepper planting bases on the doorstep of the masses. Villagers can not only increase their income through land circulation and migrant workers, but also learn planting techniques.
Since the beginning of this year, the average daily labor volume of the pepper base has been 150, driving the average monthly income of surrounding farmers to generate 3300 yuan.

The income of the cooperative is mainly color rice ecological rice and tourism service income. This year, it is expected to produce 12 tons of ecological rice, which is planned to be sold at a price of about 30 yuan per kilogram. The income of the cooperative is retained as a development fund at 40 per cent and 60 per cent is used for members' dividends.
